Hi Eddy,

Don`t know whether to be happy or sad..... as i think you have taken my position as the oldest known member of the forum by two yrs.

I`m on my 2nd Abarth at the age of 66 and looking forward to hopefully obtain a 3rd sometime in the future.

Enjoy.

Wanted / Re: Wanted: Standard Custom or Turismo suspension.

Hi Darren,

No worries.....for what its worth... I can thoroughly recommend going for the Bilstein B14`s over the Koni setups.

That`s what i have done and find it a more compliant ride along with great road holding characteristics.

Regards.

Yes me to!!! If i hadn`t spent so much time and money on my new competizione that  i purchased at the same time these were released ... i would not hesitate .

I hummed and arrrrred for ages over the one they had in Motorvogue Bedford at the time i purchased mine ....but my head ruled my heart and decided that it was  overpriced.

It turns out that imo i made the right choice, but would certainly like this one at that asking price.....hope it soon goes.....so i can enjoy mine ....which i love also.

Regards.

Mick.

Has anyone else seen this on Ebay!!!!

Great car ...i love them and at a price they should have been when released on to  the market in January.

Pleased i never purchased one at the time.... as i would not be a happy bunny with that sort of depreciation in 8mths.

It was a polite request to moderate your language, i can and do swear at times, but feel it inappropriate to do so when posting on the forum.

There are some female members of the forum who in most circumstances would probably not be offended  by the use of most swear words when posting....however... i think all would be offended by the use of the "C " word  which was used in your last post.

Sad state of affairs  if this is the way you  describe yourself.... and your  attitude  towards  your use of  swearing.

Your Abarth / Re: Villagreen - 595 Comp - Forge intake now on
« on: August 18, 2016, 11:41:32 AM »
Mick good stuff! I would recommend having a look at the tail light hole on the lense. I blew 2 bulbs since fitting then and couldn't understand why but then realised that there was recess plastic that when putting the lense back on it would crack the light bulb. The third bulb I filed down the excess plastic and it's been fine since.

John I thought you said you weren't going to spend anymore! :) you can't go wrong with these lights for the money and they do look much better than the originals. Think there will be a few more with them on as a few other owners were asking where I got them.  I keep toying with the idea of getting your exhaust but I think I will be evicted from my house! Good to meet you at brands.

Stef

Hi Stef,

Just read this post after fitting my rear lights yesterday. All went ok and all the lights are working fine,... however if i do start  blowing bulbs i will check out the problem you had.

Love the look of these lights especially suited to the darker Abarth colours ( Record grey in my case). I think they look far nicer than the  new model ones  also.

Thanks for the info.

Regards.
Mick.
