General Chat / Goodwood FOS

Anyone going to Goodwood Festival of Speed this year?
I was hoping to go on the Saturday but Sat & Sun were sold out by the time I looked at tickets so I bought a ticket for Friday.  After the ticket arrived, I had a call from the local Abarth dealership, offering me free tickets for Thursday so it will be an early start at the showroom for coffee & bacon rolls, followed by an Abarth convoy to Goodwood!  Well it was an offer I couldn't refuse and you need more than one day there to see everything.

Questions / Will old polishing compounds still work?
« on: June 08, 2016, 01:42:13 AM »
I've got some Menzerna polishing compounds to use with a DA polisher and the bottles indicate a shelf life of 2 years but I have probably had them for 4 or 5 years.  Does anyone know if they would still be usable after this length of time?

Your Abarth / My 595 Turismo

My 595 Turismo as it was when I picked it up last Sept.  It has red leather, Skydome sunroof, TFT display, Xenon headlights & a Monza to encourage more healthy driving with the window open!

Introductions / Hello from Hampshire

Hi All,

I have a '64 plate 595 Turismo in 2-tone grey & red, which I picked up on Sept 1last year when I PX'ed my previous Abarth, a Legends Blue 500 NP with white side stripes, scorpion, mirrors & petals.  The white wheels looked great but showed the dirt far too easily!  The 595 has a red leather interior, electric skydome & Xenon headlights, which I had to spec as an option as they had just been dropped as standard on the Turismo when they brought in the TFT display.  I also had a Monza fitted, just for the hell of it.  My wife has a '14 plate Fiat 500 TwinAir, in Chillout Purple, with tobacco & ivory leather and ivory ambiance, which is her pride & joy.    I will post some photos of the 595 shortly.
