For Sale / Straight through stainless rear exhaust week old £100
« on: August 07, 2016, 12:29:20 PM »
Change of plan. Stainless steel straight rear exhaust for sale. About a week old was on the car for less than 24h. It's fucking loud, way too loud for someone with no seats (I.e me). I guess it's what a Bombardone sounds like as it's essentially a replica. Got it from Veloces of London. It's 304 stainless with chrome tips. The tips are lightly scratched underneath please see the pictures. You would never see it fitted to a car. Cost me about £300 a week ago. Someone just give me £100 and we will never speak of it again. Collect from lancing West Sussex. 07725172713

For Sale / Stainless Monza
« on: May 19, 2016, 06:47:41 PM »
Hi all,

Have a stainless Monza for sale off a 15 plate 180 comp.

In generally good condition, just needs a polish.

I had to cut part of the welded clamp off to remove it so you would need to cut the reminder off and use a replacement clamp.

Sounds amazing. Will try and get some photos but it's not at my home address currently.

In Shoreham Sussex, looking for £200 which is a bargain (only because I cut the clamp!). Collection only please.

Josh

General Chat / Abarth Classiche
« on: November 19, 2015, 02:16:51 PM »
So Abarth just officially opened their classiche workshop in Italy yesterday. Pretty cool, similar in some respects to Ferrari in that they can document classic cars, and also work on classic models.

The website is pretty cool if a little sparse. But you can also register your Abarth with them :)

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Jacking
« on: August 31, 2015, 01:45:59 PM »
I know this has been covered a bit already, but can anyone recommend a jack to use on the A500? I am preferably after a low one (for obvious reasons!). It will only be to take the wheels off now and then.

Also, its quite obvious where to jack the car up on the front, but at the rear I am still uncertain?

Your Abarth / My 180 comp
« on: August 02, 2015, 05:32:08 PM »
My first A500, which I bought brand new in 2010. Was one of the first cars to go to GTT and have their stage 2 kit, power wise circa 180bhp on the stock turbo. Eibach pro springs and 6mm spacers to finish it off. Sold it in 2012/3 when I decided to go to University as a 'mature' student and couldn't afford to keep it. Missed it ever since and told myself when I could, I would have another...

Fast forward to 2015...I heard the 180 was coming out. I had to have one... hence the first pictures of my car in August 2015:

My car as of October 2015:

Rollcage.
H&R Springs.
GTT 6mm spacers.

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Top mount caps
« on: July 31, 2015, 12:27:47 PM »
Simple question really, are new 500's coming with the top mount caps from factory, or do they still come bare and thus able to fill up with water when it gets wet...

Sadly I havent owned this car for, probably three years now. It was the first 'new' car I ever bought, and quite a departure from anything I had owned before as I was a huge BMW fanatic. I was a serial E30 owner (316/318iS/325i sport) as well as E36's and E46's and the odd rarity thrown in for good measure such as my C36. Good times.

I have no idea where it is now, but I had it from 5 miles on the clock until 20k odd. During my couple of years with it I spent a small fortune on it, and was one of the first to have GTT work on my car. Any way, in preparation for my newly coming 180 I thought I would post some pictures for old times sake. I might even throw few of my previous cars in, if thats allowed :)

Introductions / Hi all
« on: June 29, 2015, 09:11:15 PM »
Hello!

I was an old member on the 'other' forum which I noticed seems to have died a bit of an unfortunate death? Very sad, it was a great community 5 years ago when I had my first car.

Ive been without an A500 for roughly 3 years now, but have a 595 180 to collect in August! Looking forward to it!
