Just spoke to my dealer today about my new Series 4 Comp order and I've been informed that the Series 4 is already scheduled a specification update for January 2017! 

The exact details of the changes will be given to me on Saturday (happens to be global/national Abarth day), but yes less than 12 months in and there is an updated spec; at the moment they have told me that it effects the Competizione and the rest of the range should remain the same.

Unfortunately this means that I could have ordered an 'obsolete' model, however I do have the option to change my order to the new V2.0 - additional goodies seem likely and I'm hoping that they have updated the shape of the Xenons too so that they fit with the face-lifted 500 range.

The performance pack should not change, so Mechanical LSD, Carbon Fibre Sabelts, Supersport alloys & the gloss decal/mirror options are still there.

So I've been in limbo for around a month waiting for Platts to sort out 'Carbon Fibre dash gate'...due to the supplier issue Abarth have had; apparently Abarth have stopped orders on the new Comp and they cannot be ordered at all - is this true, or is the dealership just messing around? Has anyone ordered a series 4 Comp with the performance pack in the last few weeks?

Getting really fed up now and will go elsewhere if it's just Platts being useless as always

After speculation over being able to convert my standard heater unit to the full climate control module; I purchsed one and had the plastic fascia part done in gloss black - looks gorgeous, so much better than the standard finish.

However this conversion is way too much work and after receiving my sparkling shiny gloss black fascia I can't install it at all, so I am selling an unused freshly coated gloss black fascia piece.

These are like gold dust and I paid good money for it - £30 + £41 to be done in gloss black!

I would like a fair offer for this as it is unused and I can also provide the full electronic module at a small cost to go with it (if you fancy a spare or want to try the conversion yourself).

Just a quick note for those new to the meet; please turn right at the first t-junction off the main road onto the Carsington Water car park. We line up to the right of the main building on the back row of spaces.

It was lovely to have some new faces around last time, so I hope to see a few more again

After unforeseen circumstances stopped me from attending the last meet, I'm planning on the next one before we really hit winter.

I'm looking for suggestions here for a Midlands meeting perhaps near Tamworth to make it easier for our Birmingham & surrounding area folk   

I've seen a place called Kingsbury on google maps but it's really not my area, so fire away with some suggestions please...
