For Sale / For sale: Bluespark box for Punto Evo 165/180
« on: February 11, 2016, 03:19:11 PM »
Good afternoon,

I have my bluespark box for the Punto Evo for sale, no longer need the box.

It gives you a much smoother rev band delivery and a good shot of bhp, not sure of exact figures but Bluespark claim an increase from 165 to 193bhp.

bluespark also offer free map switches if you have the box they will put a different map on it, you just pay for postage.

£95 inc tracked delivery.

Any questions just ask.

Your Abarth / Clean and shiny *photo heavy*
« on: June 07, 2015, 10:45:27 PM »
It was such a nice day today I decided to clean my little beast.

I got to test out the G3 clay mitt today;
Good product, I clayed the car in no time! Well made but I feel some tougher stains would be better suited to a clay bar, I had to push down hard with the mitt which made my worry about marring, polish finished up the prep and removed any stains that remained.

I simply washed the car over once and mixed up another washing solutions and also used a bottle contained shampoo and water to keep things slippy.

Overall good product and would use again but don't think it has completely replaced the bar.

Really enjoyed taking some photos today, hope they are good enough for you guys and girls.

Abarth Punto Evo / Brake Pad Change?
« on: February 22, 2015, 01:42:34 PM »
Good afternoon,

I tackled changing my brake pads today but clearly my car is fighting me all the way..

can someone help me on the knowledge side on how to replace my pads, all i can find are guide on the punto evo not the abarth on the Brembos.

I have listed a picture below, am i right to assume that you need to remove the 2 screws pointed out in RED and push through the 2 pins pointed out in BLUE?

any tips on how to get the pins out?? mine were fiercely stuck and didint what to damage my calliper paint.

hoping someone that steer me in the right direction.

thank you.

Hi All,

I wanted to do this post to help anyone that might be experiencing this issue in the present or future, I recently had some trouble with my pocket rocket;

Wednesday morning driving to work, the car jolted and threw up loads of errors, they were ESP unavailable, Hill Holder unavailable and check engine, pulled over turned off the engine, tried to turn her back on but wouldn't hold an idle, left alone for 5 minutes and she started.

Got her home and got Greenflag to tow me to SE Autos in Biddenden, done diagnostics and threw up codes P0105 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Malfunction) and another code I cant remember(Sorry).

read stories on google about people having long term issues and was worried, I also found the link below which helped completely, it relates to the MAP being faulty.

so rang up warranty company, told them the issue and they said happy to fix, gave the garage the go ahead and 2 days later when the part arrived, garage called all fixed, all errors gone, part was £60 and a total fee of £152.40 Inc. VAT was agreed, which I am covered and getting reimbursed.

so anyone having these issues don't fret, simple fix and the MAP is easy to replace as its just plug and play.

Minor concern is I recently installed the bluespark box and am worrying this was the cause.

Hope this helped someone out there on the great world wide web.
