Abarth 124 / Replacement headlight bulbs

i have a spider it does not have the visibility pack it never bothered me as its only really a summer car i did get a reversing cam fitted and would like to upgrade the headlight bulbs,i am crap at this sort of thing so has anyone hear done this of any idea what i should buy to upgrade.

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Engine management light

I got a 595 Trofeo a few weeks ago its 2 years old and i love it i filled it with petrol then the management light stays on the car runs fine i have some lowering springs fitted and asked the guy the clear the light (i know i should have asked what code it was ) the was was fine not light filled it up again same thing management light on again,has anyone got any ideas what it can be is there a sensor in the fuel tank am i doing something wrong any help will be appreciated..

Hi there hope you are all ok ,need some advice have been offered a Turismo 68 plate 7600 miles £11250 I think its a good deal any owners out there give me some advice maybe regarding anything to look out for problems ECT.

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / 595 Security

Hi everyone I have a spider but im looking for a 595 Tourismo as a second car to replace my VTS when I contacted my insurance company they asked me all sorts of questions where its kept (in a garage) will it be used as a track day car (no) but they want to know who security comes as standard but I haven't got a clue so can anybody help does it come with an alarm and immobiliser is it a Thatcham 1 or 2 .

Just booked my car in for its second service for next Friday with a company called Italia -Tec they have such a good reputation and the price isn't to bad £220 plus VAT but ive only done 1800 miles

Abarth 124 / Seat Wear

I know this has been talked about before but from what I gather more and more spider owners are have problems with the seats collapsing and excessive wear and on the Facebook site the word is that the early cars didn't have these problems I cant really see that myself as the seats are all made in the same place,.
I haven't had any problems with mine but I have done less than 2000 miles so maybe I have got that problem to come,but it seems to be true as on Facebook only the later cars seem to have problems so has anyone one with an early car had seat problems.

Abarth 124 / Finally got my replacement key

my key has finally arrived after 6 months of arguing and fighting as when I picked up the car in April (as an ex demo) when I got home I noticed the spare key fob was damaged and of course the dealer said it wasn't there fault and after some advice from Neil and lots of emails its arrived so after xmass i wil go and get it programmed . Thank F..k that's all over.

Abarth 124 / Bonet catch broken

My spiders in the garage for the winter opened the bonnet to connect to connect a trickle charger went to put the bonnet down but no clip it shut tried to clip the piece of metal that holds the bonnet up back into the plastic clip and the clip just broke ,has anybody got an idea what the clip is called so I can get another one ive googled every name I can think of but no joy.

Abarth 124 / Trickle Charge Or Not

Just locked my car away for a few months and only just realised my spider has a cigarette lighter so has anyone got any thoughts on weather to use a trickle charger or not the cars kept in a dry well ventilated garage but not sure if I trust leaving a trickle charger plugged in all the time especially if im away does anyone use these devices ??

Anyone had any experience with these ?? apparently you key your keys in the pouch when your not using the car and it blocks anyone from cloning your keys.

General Chat / How Long Do You keep Your Cars

I was wondering how often do people here change there cars I tend to keep mine for years ,I had my VXT for 13 years and my car before that was 7 years but they wasn't my everyday cars ,my spider is just over a year old now and its just a weekend car really and im in my 60s now so maybe this will be my last weekend car.

Questions / Keeping car clean over winter in a garage

I have a red spider im giving it a good clean and then locking it away for the winter I used to have a yellow VXT for many years and every winter I locked it in the garage started it up (With the garage door open) every couple of weeks and I used to wipe it over with a damp multifibre cloth to keep the dust off but I was told not to do the same with the spider as the dark red paint will show all the swills in the paint I never noticed this on my vx but maybe it was because it was yellow.

Anyone got any advice.
