My car was damaged on the forecourt last year before I'd even picked it up, getting it fixed was like pulling teeth. Now, days before Abarth Day after being asked not to wash the car (in person, on the phone and leaving a notice inside the car window) they wash it.
What's the big deal you ask? Well my car has been ceramic coated and over this there is a layer of hydrophobic EXO used to repel dirt and water. Whoever washed the car went at it like a bull in a china shop, they scrubbed at bugs on the front, used a naff sponge and dirty water and a car that looked like a mirror is now covered in swirls and marks which are likely in the layer of EXO.
I've taken it to Reep Midlands to get a quote on getting the EXO replaced at the dealers expense and sent them a recorded letter informing them I expect them to make it right. Reep agree that the EXO has been damaged due to naff washing techniques, lucky they doubt the ceramic coating has been damaged.
It's just infuriating a few days before an Abarth event that the car is covered in swirls and scratches where as days before it looked like a mirror.
