General Chat / Re: Spotify Next/Previous button.
« on: August 09, 2017, 03:09:22 PM »
Update on this, not sure if anyone is having the same problem but I still cant get it to work! Took it to the car dealer, doesn't work on the other 500 but the button works as long as the music files are on the phone and not being streamed. I've tried both Apple Music and Spotify but to no avail. Although, Spotify has worked with the Next/Previous button while I was streaming music so I guess it's temperamental.

Not sure if the new iOS update has caused this.. iOS version is 10.3.3

Hey, Thanks for the reply.

Mine is the last gen model so the no Bluetooth audio (phone, yes). I use a cable for mine. It looks like that I need Apples MUSIC app and a song so the BLUE&ME is able to register, then I can press play on spotify, It is then I am able to use the controls.

General Chat / Spotify Next/Previous button.

Hey all,

Having a bit of an issue here. I'm not sure if it's the car or Spotify app.
Anyway, I plug my charging cable and the head unit detects the phone and starts playing music, volume works but nothing else works. I tried the Next/Previous button on both the steering wheel and the head unit itself but neither of them changes track. I did have that problem before but now it seems permanent.
Not sure if it's Spotify update that caused it or something failing in my car.  Oh and the Mute button usually pauses the music on Spotify but now it doesn't do that!

Anyone else having the same problem?

Must be a very common thing if you drive a firm suspension car and driving on country lanes.

What went wrong with it?

one of the shock absorber is leaking. I'm guessing this is due to those country roads I've been driving on!!

7 months of abarth ownership, I now need a new shock absorber. Luckily, my warranty cover this. Makes me wonder what else will fail on not-even-a-year-old car   >:(

I'm from London and you're around 60-70 miles away - an hour's drive down the A3 and it would be a pleasure for me. Just so happens its my wageweekend & i've got money for fuel!
I am free this Saturday or Sunday?

there are many cheap second hand abarths for around £8,000 these days.
just need to go out and search for the car you want.
Ex-demo cars are slightly cheaper than new built cars

I agree. Sometimes I will have to go through about 3 pages just to see if anyone has written anything about seeing my car.

The old shape abarth interior is tacky and have those retro head unit which doesn't have the capabilities of bluetooth streaming (A2DP), plastics everywhere and the cup holders placements are shit. Apart from all that, it's a blast to drive.
New shape has Touch-screen and A2DP protocol so you will be able to stream music through bluetooth. and Interior is slightly better

You can get a better interior car for £15,000 but it's the performance of a small car that you want; thats why people opted for abarth. Not to mention the unique Abarth soundtrack
