Hi Andy,

Thanks again for the wheels, wheel stand and for loading them into my car. As I mentioned I’m recovering from my 3rd shoulder operation, fingers crossed this one has worked.

We got home safely thanks, although it was 9pm before we got home. The inclement weather reduced our speed somewhat.

Thanks for the comments on the colour, it looks even better now that it has been washed after the 491 mile drive home. Unfortunately it started pouring with rain again before I got a photo.

Pleasure meeting you, and Karen. I am really shocked that no one had purchased the wheels and tyres earlier, they are in as new condition. I feel very lucky to have got them, and I know they will look fantastic on the car.

Take care, and enjoy your 695 XSR, it is a superb car.

Kind regards,

Paul

Hi Andy,

I sent you an email as requested. I would be obliged if you could send me some photos of the wheels as all going well I’ll be picking up a new car at the weekend, and was hoping to possibly pick up the wheels then too. This is assuming that they are in good condition and a style that I like.

Apologies if you have replied, whilst this message was being typed.

Thanks, and regards,

Paul

Hi Andy,

I’m new to the forum and trying to purchase my first Abarth.

However, as I live in Scotland and normally run Winter Tyres on my other cars, I am genuinely interested in the wheels and tyres.

Could you possibly drop me a few photos and advise on condition/price?

Thanks in anticipation,

Paul

Help.....

We are somewhat torn between buying a 50th Anniversaro which is not a Convertible (sunroof or panoramic) or a Convertible....

I know the 50th Anniversaro has a great specification including 180 BHP engine, Brembo brakes, uprated suspension. However, I don’t know whether we would miss being able to lower the roof...

I have also read of some issues with the convertible roof, are they troublesome and likely to leak?

Has anyone had both a hatchback and convertible, who could give their opinion?

There are a few options up to our budget of circa £12K, and has anyone got any thoughts on whether the 50th Anniversaro would hold it’s value better than a similar age (2014) Tourismo convertible with 160 BHP.

Our decision isn’t helped by all the cars we are interested in being more than 200 miles away, especially in these challenging Covid-19 times... :-\

We would like to try and have a car sorted for the coming weekend, so it’s going to be a fun week trying to weigh up the pro’s and con’s of the various cars... :-X

TIA,

Paul

Hi,

Looking to buy an Abarth to replace my recently sold Smart Brabus Roadster Coupe.

Car has to be an MTA as my wife will also be driving it.

Can anyone advise whether the 50th Anniversary Model came in a Cabrio format? I have also read about a possible paint issue with this model, can anyone shed any light on this?

I would prefer a Cabrio, however would also consider one with a panoramic roof, would need to be a Tourismo or Competzione. There are so many variations that it is difficult to try and compare one to another.

Just missed out on a good specification MTA Cabrio today, which has increased my need to get one sooner rather than later.

I have alerts set up on all the usual web-sites etc. and if anyone is thinking of selling theirs don’t hesitate or get in touch. I would prefer to buy from an enthusiast....

Thanks, Paul

Wanted / Wanted - Abarth MTA Convertible
« on: September 15, 2020, 08:56:42 PM »
Hi,

I’m looking for an Abarth MTA Convertible for my wife. Preference would be a 595, however I need to get a handle of the speciation differences between models i.e. Tourismo, Compezione etc.

My preference would be a full leather interior, PDC, Abarth service history, Xenon headlights and lowish mileage. I would consider from 2010 to 2016, and prefer to buy from an enthusiast rather than a garage. I’m in no rush as going on holiday on Monday for a fortnight, cash is waiting for the right car.

Please don’t hesitate to PM me with any details of cars which you may be willing to sell.

I have watchlists set up on Autotrader, PistonHeads, E-bay etc. however as I say I would prefer to buy from an enthusiast.

Thanks....😉
