As you say the supercharger is fantastic.

I had a JCW R53 in the past with a few mods, but the GP does feel on another level. The differences as you know are subtle but they overall package is great.

Luckily no longer on run flats but the tyres do need changing at some point. You will love the Abarth, they are fantastic cars with real character.

Opportunity came up to buy a very low mileage, totally original, R53 GP a car I always wanted when they launched. Prices are starting to firm up for nice cars as there were only 2000 and only about 450 which came to the UK. They are seriously sorted little cars even in standard trim, with a few tweaks they are absolutely nuts.

Dear all...car is now sold.

Thanks for the memories! It was my second Abarth, enjoyed it a great deal but felt it was time for another project of sorts.

Change of plan. Stainless steel straight rear exhaust for sale. About a week old was on the car for less than 24h. It's fucking loud, way too loud for someone with no seats (I.e me). I guess it's what a Bombardone sounds like as it's essentially a replica. Got it from Veloces of London. It's 304 stainless with chrome tips. The tips are lightly scratched underneath please see the pictures. You would never see it fitted to a car. Cost me about £300 a week ago. Someone just give me £100 and we will never speak of it again. Collect from lancing West Sussex. 07725172713

Thanks mate! Really pleased with how all the little things have added up.

I'm thinking of getting a tricolour stripe down the centre like a 360 CS, but with a Matt black backing instead of white to go with the black theme...

Great looking spec (I would say that...). I wouldn't worry about the series 4, IMO the changes aren't radical enough to warrant the extra outlay.

Werd peeps!

8cm scorpion badge to go on the rear bumper vents.

Was gold, I painted it black with a gold tail. You can paint it any colour you want though, easily.

Got to be honest, didn't realise driveshafts were a major problem on these cars. No more so than any other relatively powerful FWD car.

I recall a few threads about it on the other forum over the years but not enough to indicate a widespread design flaw.

A CV joint is a CV joint after all. How old is this car?
