Tickets for parade laps now on sale. Looks like Saturday sold out pretty quick so booked for Sunday 5th!

Well that's it! All booked for the full 3 days. Being new to the scene last year (it was only the 2nd club event we had attended after the Donington Classic) we did umm and arrr over cost of the Silverstone one. Got to say though that although it's not an insignificant amount of money it has to be one of the best value weekends of the year!!!
There is so much to do and see that a weekend ticket is a must if you plan to get round and see the car club displays and obviously the racing which is awesome. Seeing the 'old school' motors battle it out is a sight not to be missed
Just hope we can a get a 'parade lap' to match last years - what a blast that was, left us grinning from ear to ear 
Fingers crossed that the weather is also just as good.

Hi, Just thought I'd give this a go on here.....slightly away from the Abarth theme I know but guessing/hoping there may be someone or a mate of a mate who may be interested (I have asked permission before posting 
Anyway , having a clear out and have for sale a large number of 911 & Porsche World magazines along with copies of Porsche Post and Porsche Trading Post (The latter 2 being the official magazine of the Porsche Owners Club - for those who may be unaware) . The magazines cover the period from 1993 to 2005 and is virtually a complete collection over that period. All the magazines are in near mint condition and feel that they are just to good to throw away. Hoping there is/are a/some Porsche enthusiasts out there running one as a !st/2nd even 3rd car alongside their Abarth. I collected these over the period I was running a 944. I have put them up on Gumtree - the link is below - or you can just search for 911 & Porsche World using Grantham or Lincoln as the location on the Gumtree site. They are grouped for sale by year however I would prefer to sell them as a complete collection. I will not break the collection to sell individual magazines. Also given the weight of these I am very reluctant to post. If anyone is interested please PM me and I am open to sensible offers for the collection.

Your Abarth / Happy 1st Birthday!

Well it may be a couple of weeks late but anyway.......Got the car at the end of August last year and just can't get enough. So much so that it's highly likely that we'll take it on what'll be close to a 1500 mile roadtrip up around the Cairngorms quite soon. We'll just see if heart rules head but the photo opportunities may be too good to pass up. In the mean time......

Slightly after the event but finally had a chance to go through some of the images from the Silverstone weekend. All the images are race action taken from the stands mainly 'The Village', Luffield and Becketts/Maggots. Apologies for the similarity of the images but hope you like non the less.

Unfortunately couldn't get the stickers/decals that fix to the inside of the windows so had these made locally and picked them up today . Just got to decide which set to use although first thoughts are......mmmmm???

Just finding time to take a look through photos of the Silverstone weekend so will post a few up over the next couple of days for anyone interested. In the meantime, and I hope this works 
, but here's a video of the parade lap from club stand to return. If that's too much then the lap starts at around the 08:00 mark. First time posting/editing a video so apologies if it's long/crap!! Think a great lap was had by all and it seemed we were showing the way! Shame we only got the 1........

Great time at the Abarth Day today. Plenty to do and see with one of the main highlights being the hot lap passenger ride in a 124. Driver gave a running commentary throughout the lap which was totally unexpected but certainly put the icing on the cake. 
Big thanks should be passed on to all involved......hard work fpr the drivers but it looked like they were enjoying it just as much!!
