Maybe give them both a ring to what offers they have on just now.

The Competizione does come with grey stripes as standard... you can upgrade to red, white or black stripes (dependant on paint colour) for £200.
If you don’t have it already, grab a pdf copy of the price list from www.abarthcars.co.uk to see the full spec. You may be able to teach your salesman what he’s actually selling!

When I bought mine, the dealer had a couple of 16MY unreg cars with Xenons, but I preferred the colour of the 17MY I chose. Would have been nice to have Xenons but not a deal breaker for me.
If you’ve been told it has them then either it’s a 16MY, they are fitted as an option, or the dealer is wrong. Easy to spot Xenons - they have a couple of small silver bits on the sides of the light units nearest to the middle of the car that pop out to expose the headlight washers. The Halogens are a single piece.

You should get mats, alloy gear knob, sill protectors and alloy fuel cap. Oil cap is no longer part of the spec. 17MY cars don’t get Xenons or auto dimming rear view mirror either...

Your Abarth / One week on...

Picked up my Competizione last Saturday, and have done just over 300 miles so far.
I love this car
Did give it a quick wash earlier in the week but had time today for a proper wash, polish and wax...
Of course, it started to rain not long after I'd finished, but at least I got a nice beading shot:
Then went for a quick drive 'Just to dry the brakes, dear' (!) and took a quick photo:

Hi all
Picked up my new 595 Competizione from Research Garage in Nuneaton this morning
Gara white with the red stripe pack, and 7” UConnect with nav.
It’s replacing an MX5 which I never really bonded with - nothing wrong with it other than it was sloooow.
Love it!
