Title: 4 number 17" 10 spoke Abarth Alloys fitted with Continental Winter**Now sold**
Post by: Andy595 on November 23, 2018, 04:27:03 PM: As per the title, in very good condition, albeit 2 have very minor surface marks. If any one is interested, PM and I will send over very detailed photo's.

Red centre caps.

The wheels cost me £650 and the winter tyres £430.

Tyres have @ 5 - 6 mm tread on them.

Will sell for £450. Buyer to collect or arrange transport.

Winter conditions are approaching. The cost of the tyres alone was £430, I am selling with wheels for £450. A bargain I reckon.

Remember that you won't have to keep going to the tyre shop to have the change over done twice a year, just change the wheels. Easy peasy.

Am looking to clear some space in the garage, as I now don't commute, I won't be going out in the bad weather.

Hi Neil, hope you are well.

I see no reason for them not fitting over the Brembo's I believe they were offered as an option on the Turismo when you could specify the Brembo brakes (I notice now you can't specify the Brembo option on the Turismo and can't get these wheels on the Comp!!!)

It is the same tyre size fitted on the rim regardless of the brake option.

Hope this helps. If not I will contact Abarth to confirm matters.

P.S. I will include the wheel stand if required.

I don't see why not, the wheel and bolt configuration has been the same throughout.

Did have an offer for these, but Abarth UK have stated they will not fit over the Brembo's without spacers and longer bolts!

This has confused me somewhat as I am sure we bought them from a chap (was a member on here, but have forgotten who) that had a Competizone therefore had the Brembo brakes. They are the standard size for both cars Turismo and Comp at 205/40/17".

Anyway these are back on the market, but I would like to know if anyone has the 10 spoke alloys fitted over Brembo's? Any help appreciated.

I will also post on the general info thread as not all will read the classified sections.

Just make sure that you wrap each one up in black bags & cardboard, just make sure your in for the collection - problems solved

Hi thanks for the reply,, I thought the forum had long since died, could have been my internet settings.

The wheels / tyres are still available, I figured there was less likely to be any interest during spring and summer, now we are in the cold autumn months I’m happy for this to be bumped.

Am not really in haste to sell, just looking to clear some space in the garage (also have a 5.5 tonne log splitter available 🙄) so not looking to reduce the price by much if at all, would consider say £400 collected. Earlier in the thread someone noted a courier at a reasonable price. Am in the East Lancs area if collection an option.

Thanks again for the wheels, wheel stand and for loading them into my car. As I mentioned I’m recovering from my 3rd shoulder operation, fingers crossed this one has worked.

We got home safely thanks, although it was 9pm before we got home. The inclement weather reduced our speed somewhat.

Thanks for the comments on the colour, it looks even better now that it has been washed after the 491 mile drive home. Unfortunately it started pouring with rain again before I got a photo.

Pleasure meeting you, and Karen. I am really shocked that no one had purchased the wheels and tyres earlier, they are in as new condition. I feel very lucky to have got them, and I know they will look fantastic on the car.

Take care, and enjoy your 695 XSR, it is a superb car.
