The Waxaddict Quartz was 3 months old as well when those photos of the roof were taken, impressed even me... :D

Brian that's pretty awesome! Is it easy to apply (quick and easy!)?

Thanks! IIRC I just clayed the car, polished with SRP and used Collinite 915 Marque d'Elegance. I will get the dual action polisher out sometime this summer to correct some swirls although it didn't come out badly last time even if I say so :)

Haha, thank you!
The QD is an easy one , the OPs product, Armour all shield liquid wax diluted 50/100ml and topped up to the 500ml mark with water. Easy enough to use, just a spray, spread & wipe product like any other but slightly smtreaky so requires a little buffing. This can be made easier to buff by mixing it with another generic QD like Finale by Auto Finesse.
Quartz is an easier enough wax to use although doesn't apply in the same fashion as waxes in the same £100 price tag. Being a more premium wax, I assumed it would be a full car application & buff, I was wrong... took ages to remove & left me with mixed feelings with it. Second coat, I tried two panels then removed in the same order, much easier to buff off and the durability/beading is the best I have come across. It was still going strong after 5 months on my car before I had my scurderia stripes fitted, ending the durability test but I imagine 7-8 months must be easily achievable.

Some (if not all) of these images are works of art! Feel like a fraud in this company. Sharing our post-polish watering but clearly have more work to do 💦

Love it

Spent too long titivating the XSR ready for the Sunday Scramble, only for it to rain overnight. Still, an excuse to snap the beading offered from a few coats of Autoglym super resin and finishing gloss. Give us a wave JL!!

All ready for Silverstone and then the first bit of rain in how long? Still every cloud has a silver lining 😉
-
Was lucky as we were at Silverstone yesterday so now weather problems until we got to donnington on the way home.

Hi
Is this coating self applied or did you go to a professional company?

Hey Andy, it was professional applied and they did an amazing job.
It's ceramic coated and has an extra layer of EXO hydrophobic on the top for even better beading.

Cheers for that. I ask because I use Gtechniq products, while expensive, I think worth it. I have some of the none pro coating which I am going to be applying when back from hols.

No problem, I am very happy with Gtechniq products and even when car is dirty the shine is clearly still there.
Reep in the East Midlands applied mine after a full detailing and I'd recommend them as well.
