Title: Remap for AGP
Post by: Scorpion king on March 26, 2016, 09:54:15 AM
Has anyone had their AGP remapped? If so is it any good, I've booked my car in next month at Celtic tuning in Cornwall, they actually come to you. They seem a really good company and the remap carries a 14 money back garauntee and a 12 month warranty so all good. They quote £295 and will take the power to 187bhp and 201 ftlb of torque. Does this make a difference just on sport boost or on both settings? How much extra strain on the clutch with more torque, just want to know people's opinions. I don't want to fit a TMC box as that's generic and a remap is tailored to your car.

If they are coming to you, unless they put it on a rolling road and build the map to the cars spec then it isn't any different to a TMC box

If you do some research, Celtic tuning have a lot of bad reviews regarding false bhp claims.
Anyone that's comes to you is just a generic map, custom mapping is the best way unfortunately it's not cheap and you will have to travel unless you are lucky enough to live near one.

Thanks for the heads up, think I will reconsider. I really want a custom map
