Thought I'd get the ball rolling as its dead on our section.
-
Same here was starting to think I was the only one! :-X
-
I'm an ex-AGP owner who went to the dark side... Does that count? ;)
-

I've noticed that you've got Esseesse Springs fitted. I've just purchased a set and wanted to know if you used the standard shocks or not.
-
Yes its on standard shocks mate :)
-
Don't know if we have many AGP owners, the 500 hasn't changed but I think a lot of Punto owners have APE's now :)
-
Yes its on standard shocks mate :)
Thanks for the info. Can't wait to get them fitted now ;D
-
Another AGP owner has joined ;D
-
I believe there may be other AGP owners in Yorkshire who've not found this place yet........

It's only a matter of time :)
-
I'll mention it to him next time we speak.
-
And then there were three.
Can't understand where everyone is ???
According to howmanyleft.co.uk there are 340. Not including esseesse!!
-
I think that will likely include Esseesse models as the kit is fitted by the dealerships, not at the factory, it is still registered as a standard Abarth Grande Punto. God, like 300-400 Punto Evo compared to like 6-7k of Abarth 500s... never realsed how exclusive the punto's are 8)
-
Hadn't though of it like that! Future classic maybe? ;D
-
I always wonder whether the Punto's will be a future classic, according to that how many left website its saying that there are 132 Supersport's
-
Will be plenty more around the world though... they are more popular in mainland Europe aren't they?
-
I'm not sure i couldn't really answer that one
-
When you consider how many are likely to be sold in Italy... I can't see it. They aren't special enough. I would imagine limited editions runs such as the Tributo, Maserati and 50th Anniversary along with the Abarth Punto Scorpione would be the most likely to increase in value in the future.
I would buy my car outright and keep it for the future if I had somewhere to store it... Sadly I don't have a garage somewhere to put her away in to protect her so may as well just enjoy her while I have her.
-
I'd love to keep mine and believe that it will one day be a future classic but seems most agree with you that it wont be which makes me wonder whether its worth it
-
I think it's popularity abroad would be very much the same as here. If you think about its competition such as the Corsa VXR, Leon Cupra, Fiesta ST, Clio Sport. People are more likely to buy a car with a proven track record. Abarth as a brand is still very much unknown.
-
the fact its relatively unknown does that add/remove future value or class it as a classic?
-
I don't think the percentage of Punto models sold is that different to what it has been in the UK..... it was always going to be more exclusive than its cheaper brother.
Is it a future classic? Absolutely........ but will it be worth mega money? That I doubt.
-
A bit like a original mini copper then. A classic but not worth big bucks unless it's in mint condition.
-
